AI Add-On Subscription
The SongwritersdB AI Add-On is an optional monthly subscription that provides access to AI-powered features within the SongwritersdB application.
Merchant of Record
Our order and payment process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Please visit paddle.net if you encounter any problems with your payment.
Trial
SongwritersdB AI Tools Add-On subscription includes a free 7-day trial period.
You will get billed if you don’t cancel your subscription before the end of the trial. When you start your trial, paddle.net will send you an email with further information. Please retain this email for future reference!
Authorization
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your preferred payment option now, and again at the beginning of any subsequent subscription period. If you choose to cancel your subscription at any time, your subscription will terminate automatically and we will not charge your preferred payment for the subsequent subscription period. You agree that we may either terminate or suspend your subscription for any reason at any time at our sole discretion.
Price and Renewal
If you enroll in the AI Add-On, you will be charged $1.99 USD per month (or, following notice to you, a revised price) on a recurring basis. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless and until you cancel. We will continue to bill the payment method on file at the then-current monthly rate unless you cancel before the next renewal date. Material recurring terms like amount, frequency, and cancellation method should be clearly disclosed before signup.
How to Cancel
Subscriptions are handled by Paddle, our payment processor, and you will automatically receive a link to cancel in subscription-related emails sent to you. You will be able to cancel at the subscription portal yourself.
If account-based cancellation is not available, you may cancel by contacting customer support using the contact method listed on our website. Current FTC guidance emphasizes that cancellation terms should be disclosed and cancellation should be simple for consumers to use.
When Cancellation Takes Effect
If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. After that period ends, your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again unless you re-subscribe.
Refunds
Monthly subscription charges for the AI Add-On are non-refundable and non-prorated, except where required by applicable law. If you cancel during a billing period, you will continue to have access to the AI Add-On through the end of that paid period.
Changes to Price or Terms
We may change the subscription price or these subscription terms in the future. If we do, we will provide notice as required by applicable law before the new price or terms take effect.
Main Software Purchase Separate
The AI Add-On subscription is separate from your one-time purchase or license for the SongwritersdB software. Cancellation of the AI Add-On does not cancel your main SongwritersdB software license.
Typos
For accounts where there is an email typo or incorrect email provided, it is up to the customer to contact SongwritersdB support and provide the correct email. Any subscription issues resulting from an invalid email is the responsibility of the customer until they reach out to provide a valid email.
