The purpose of the Documents tab is to allow you to import a copy of all documents related to the song in which you are working. For example, you can attach:
- publishing contracts
- lyric sheets with chords
- audio versions (demo; master; etc.)
- spreadsheets
- any other kind of file related to your song: pdf, docx, jpg, wav, etc.
The idea is to allow you to have ALL documents and files related to your song in one place and easily accessible with the click of your mouse.
How to get your files into the Documents page.
First, click the Documents tab on the Edit Song Details page:

This opens the Documents page:

Next, click Browse to find a file you wish to add to the list. When you are sure it is the right file, click Add Below.
The document initially appears with the original file name. To change the name (locally; will not affect the original file name), click the pencil icon. Make the change and then click the disc icon.
To remove a file from the list click the trash icon.
